Bogmats are not designed to be used as a bridging device, as there is no structural engineering to allow for this application.
There are specific products designed for this application. Due to the critical safety of personnel and property, we do not recommend using bog mats to support outriggers on lifting equipment.
Our VERSADECK and BRUTE MATS mats can be joined using our joining links, bolts, or heavy-duty cable ties.
Our SIGNAROAD and SAMSON mats are secured together with twist lock joining pins.
With our 18+ years of experience, we have found the rugged checker pattern on both sides to be the best all-around performer for rubber-tired vehicles over soft conditions. This pattern helps to prevent the spinout of mats, which is common with low-profile or circular patterns.
As all polymers are designed to flex, we cannot guarantee that using our manhandleable mats over concrete will prevent cracking.
As we are a trade/bulk supplier, we have a minimum order of 10 manhandleable mats.
All our mats are shipped palletised or in our optional storage stillages or trolleys. If you don’t have a forklift available to unload your mats, we can arrange for a tailgate unload or collection from the nearest freight depot. Hand unloading is not an option.
Unlike others, we do not believe it is in anyone’s best interest to overrate our mats’ capabilities. The load capacity of mats depends on many factors. Contact our specialist team to discuss your application.
If you have regular projects that would require mats, we would normally recommend buying mats.
The simple answer is no. However, if you need to change the location of the hardstanding or roadway multiple times, purchasing mats becomes more viable each time you relocate it.
